Matt comes to Signature Properties from the world of public accounting and business consulting. He has a total of 8 years in that industry with the last 5 1/2 years spent representing and consulting with high net worth automotive dealer clients. Before public accounting Matt spent 10 years working in the automotive retail industry. While doing so he earned a bachelors degree in Accounting from Auburn Montgomery where he graduated with honors. His passion for real estate began almost 6 years ago when he and a partner started their very own real estate investment company. They’ve since successfully completed a number of fix and flip projects and currently own investment rental properties in the River and Gulf Coast regions of Alabama. Matt and his family moved to the Gulf Coast 7 years ago eventually making the Orange Beach community their home. Matt’s wife Courtney is a well respected teacher and administrator in the Gulf Shores City School system who was honored to receive the elementary school teacher of the year award for 2020. Together Matt and Courtney have 3 children Cal (13), Sam (14), and Emma (15) who enjoy keeping their parents very busy with middle school and high school sports.
